1+1+1 ↑
(samostatná výstava░solo show, Kino Drahomíra, Karlovy Vary, 2025)
Výstava představuje obrazové myšlení ve formátu papíru A4. Nabízí vhled do imaginace, která se rozvíjí souběžně s filmem téhož názvu – 1+1+1. Tento film, kombinující hraný a dokumentární přístup, zkoumá ideu pokroku: jak, kam – a vůbec zda – pokračovat dál. Světovou premiéru měl na Mezinárodním filmovém festivalu v Karlových Varech a byl reprízován v téměž kině, kde se konala výstava.
Název 1+1+1 odkazuje na princip hromadění, který tvoří páteř moderní evropské představy o pokroku. Zároveň však připomíná samotnou logiku filmového myšlení – skládání okének, záběrů a scén do smysluplného celku.
Co když jdeme kupředu jen proto, abychom se vzdálili tomu podstatnému?
Ale co když právě teď máme šanci posunout se jinam – jinak než dosud?
A říká se, že méně je více – ale co když je méně prostě jen... méně?

The exhibition presents visual thinking in the A4 paper format. It offers a glimpse into an imagination that evolves in parallel with the film of the same name – 1+1+1. This film, blending fiction and documentary approaches, explores the idea of progress: how, where – and whether – to keep going at all. It had its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and was later screened in the very cinema where the exhibition was held.
The title 1+1+1 refers to the principle of accumulation, which forms the backbone of the modern European idea of progress. At the same time, it evokes the very logic of cinematic thinking – the assembling of frames, shots, and scenes into a meaningful whole.
What if we’re moving forward only to distance ourselves from what truly matters?
But what if right now we have a chance to move differently – in a whole new direction?
They say less is more – but what if less is simply just... less?
